Unit 5 Self-Assessment

 
Organization & Presentation
     Our video was kind of organized because we made quite a bit of mistakes. In our presentation we didn't pick the best place to film because there was a lot of distractions and a lot of people walking by. Next time we should practice mor because as I've said before we made quite a bit of mistakes.
Math Language
     The time that the video was was good I'd say because it wasn't too long and it wasn't too short. I think that I should have explained a bit more on one because I didn't explain it too much.
Tech Details
    I explained why I did the problem that way in my first thing. Our transition weren't the best because we just went for one to the other and sometime we didn't say the titles so that made the transitions worse.
Teamwork
    We should have added slides to show transition because as I've said our transitions weren't very good. My team worked well together, we talked about our presentation and we fixed each others errors every now and then. I helped my group because I fixed errors.

Goals

Goals/Next Step(s):
1. By second semester, I will type 15 words per minute. I will type with the correct finger position and not look at the keys. I will attain this goal by practicing typing four times per week for 10 minutes each time. I will keep track of my practice dates and times in my homework planner. I will attain this goal when I can type 15 words per minute.

I am doing more with my goal then November than, but I am still not typing as much as I want. At home I am typing about once or twice a week when I planned to type 4 times a week. I have reached my goal and I am raising my goal to 20 words per minute by March.

I am partly doing my goal because I am not typing as much as I planned to. I am doing some typing for ten minute periods without looking, and every once in a while i will take the typing test at home. I haven't accomplished my goal yet, but I am improving so i will keep doing what i'm doing for my goal.
2. By second semester, I will eliminate the small computation errors that I make on my math work. I will not rush, re-read the directions, and check over my classwork, homework, and tests. I will keep track of the small computational errors that I make on a checklist. I will attain this goal when I have made only zero to one error per day over the course of one unit.

I think that at the end of January I will achieve my goal because even more rarely than before I get 3 errors. I am double checking my work more and not rushing as much anymore. I think that I have made A really big improvement on this goal.

I am improving because very very rarely I get 3 computation errors, I usually get less. I think that I am making a big improvement because before i have gotten 4-5 computation errors. I am keeping track of my small computation errors in my study link folder. I've noticed that i am making good improvement.
3. By second semester in order to improve my stamina in writing, I will write at least one page during writing time. I will use details and examples to expand my thinking. Each week I will star the piece of writing that satisfies this goal and record the data on a goal sheet. I will attain this goal when I have eight one page responses starred in my notebook.

I have been keeping track of my writing and I have written and starred 4 full written pages. I have improved because last year and earlier this year I think that I would have written 4 full pages in the full year, not the whle year. I am making good progress on this goal.

I have not been keeping track of my writing. I have noticed that i am writing more than I have before. I will start keeping track now and I think I will achieve my goal soon.
